The heirloom quality quilt features a host of fancifully rendered appliques of planes, trains, automobiles, and sailboats. Light blue dominates this animated display, but the liberal use of red, green, gold, teal and brown account for its wonderfully animated feel, enhanced by use of outline quilting which makes each figure "pop".

The largely blue bumper repeats the car, plane, and boat appliques. Each section is piped with a sunny gold and red dot print and backed with cozy azure and white gingham. A gently gathered blue dust ruffle and well-fitted crib sheet complete the linen group.
