The heirloom quality quilt is broken into large rectangular panels, each featuring a different cluster of skillfully sewn appliques. In one the lioness shelters her cubs. Another includes the elephant mother and calf. The antelope is here too, along with the hungry giraffe. Each applique is carefully outlined for maximum "pop". Very creative combinations of green and brown figured prints only enhances the ensemble's strikingly realistic effect.

The tan bumpers repeat both lion and antelope images, which are interspersed with tufts of variegated green grass. Each section is piped with light chocolate and backed with a brown and azure plaid. A solid tan dust ruffle and well-fitted crib sheet complete the linen group.
